Daystar Christian Ministries is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.  Daystar Kids is a mobile kid’s outreach, teaching biblical truths, focusing on reaching children and assisting their families in underserved communities, where all are welcome on the tarps, in the streets and in the parks of Mecklenburg County. We bring light to a dark place and we bring hope, as even ourselves would have lost hope if we did not believe we would see the Lord’s goodness (Psalm 27:13).

We exist to proclaim the good news of His [Jesus] salvation in assembly freely and openly (Romans 1:16) bringing the light to a dark place (2 Peter 1:19) (Matthew 5:16) without constraint (Psalms 40:9).

The Daystar Kids Team provides a one-hour free program of games, free giveaways and a message from the Bible. Come join the community, bring a chair and cheer for your neighbors. On nights before Daystar Saturday’s, the Daystar team will walk the neighborhood, check on the kids who and families who come to the program and greet new neighbors!
